My name is David Pollard. It’s 2009 when I started writing this, and I’m 42 years old. My career has been a varied one. Initially, hotel and catering management for about 10 years, then IT for a further 12 years and now a total change in direction. I am hoping to become a Commercial Helicopter Pilot. This blog will be charting my progress. I hope it will be of use to others who are considering a similar career.
